In the forest. Here we go.
I'm not certified, but I'm weed-free.
Looking up the road. Love the layers of mountains.
Stone powerhouse. Provided electricity until 2007 when equipment was removed.
Yassss, water. At Timpanogos Caves.
For the sharp curves, I give this an A. (get it?)
Pretty stream alongside the road.
I like the hand-lettered sign. Also the rust provides a neat contrast to my tibike.
Me. Bike. Gate.
Dramatic landscape.
More dramatic landscape. Looking across a valley to a mountain with snow on it. It's above 90 degrees but a couple thousand feet up there's snow.
tibike with some aspens. I think that's the peak of Timpanogos in the background.
"Crew parking" and multiple sets. They are certainly filming SOMETHING. I wonder what. Explains the aggro box van drivers.
At the summit. Well, the summit trailhead. I'm at the pass.
And the sign at the pass. There's no name given, but.. 8000 feet? Whoa.
Road, aspens, mountain. Dramatic.
Map of the Provo River Parkway. It's long. Screenshot of Google Maps.
Map of the Murdock Canal Trail. Great because it doesn't run alongside roads. Screenshot of Google Maps.
Photo at the end of the canal trail. Thanks for the ride and chat, Mary Ann! (photo owned by Mary Ann Nielsen)
